Work in Progress

I have done some more quilting on my flying geese applique quilt.

I tried quilting pebbles around the appique on the weekend, but it just looked wrong, so that block is in the process of being un picked.

Today I tried feathering around the applique, and it looks much better.

Wow, your quilting is fabulous. Even the stuff you're picking out -- I wish mine was that good!

Such a beautiful quilt, I really liked the pebble look Patricia, but then I'm very fond of them, your feathers do give it a more classical look but both would of been beautiful, I shudder at the thought of all that unpicking????? Cheers Glenda. PS I love visiting your site so thanks for sharing.

Oh my unpicking all those pebbles, I can't imagine trying to do that. Your quilting is spectacular. I wish I could do that.

I love both the pebbles and the feathers! I am just amazed that you are doing this FMQ. You're truly inspiring! I think that the next quilt I quilt, I will try some feathers!
